Some good news here. This also explains why were there no invitations in January.
French stream is opened, they just paused it so that new applicants can use new system. I guess they will restart PT very soon. Documents will be same, but you need to check for new way how to send them.

We are in 2017... I think everything should have been computerized by now... unfortunately, we are still suffering with the paper-based applications...

Let's hope that the new system will help in improving the Nomination process for OINP with less processing time...

So, got an email today from cic that my application has been updated.

Found the following changes:

Review of submitted documents: No additional documents are needed at this time
A background check is needed: Not started

Medical still says "Not needed at this time".

My AOR was 7th Jan and medical was same date. I was expecting medical to pass by now.

Anyhow, at least some progress is there. ;D

I would suggest to redo the EE file. Also read the new guide for the online application. I am guessing that they might not see the old EE acounts before their announcement.

Yws you have to do uofront medicals and upload the e_medical sheet you will get.

I have the same concern! I am waiting to see if anything comes up in this week or early next week. I created EE profile shortly before 23 Jan. and as I was entered in the pool already, I thought there was no need to create a new profile. I will consider restarting the process next week though!

-nomination date : 16 Dec 2016
-ITA date : 22 Dec 2016
-ITA AOR date : 26 Jan 2017
-fee payment date (this can influence the processing time) : 26 Jan 2017 (all fees paid upfront).

Same for me. EE profile completed on 17 Jan. Waiting for PT NOI.

I advice everybody who did not get their PT to redo their EE. They have added new On-line system, so it might be, that they did not check older EE.

" The Government of Ontario is interested in considering you for nomination under its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) through Express Entry.

If you want Ontario to consider you for nomination under its PNP you must contact Ontario directly after receiving this letter. Note that this letter of interest is not a guarantee that you will be nominated by Ontario. You will first have to satisfy Ontario that you meet the requirements of their program."

is this what everybody is waiting for after JAn 23rd ? what's next , there is no number or anything, they asked me to contact them, what should i say and what will they ask ? any help please would be greatly appreciated !
