Has there been any information provided about the latest quota for OINP? Have they started sending out ITA's?
As far as I know they are still not issuing PTs for the Human Capital Priorities Stream. Your best source of information would be their updates website: http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPNEW.html

Did you got any answer from OINP?... or like my, the e-mail sent to the cyberspace.
well some good news on my case, last week OINP requested additional TAX information from my sponsor company! This means someone there is looking at my case.
According to the lawyer this month I should have news.

Do not trust lawyer words always. They are here to give u hope based on prediction. Just take whatever come as surprise in your application. Because when u set timeline, like i will get result this month and if u dont get it, u kinda loose hope. I applied pre screening and my lawyer said u will get result in 3 months and than later 5 months. It took one 13 months just to get prescreening result. I am just saying based on my experience.

Well today was a magical day! my wife passed her drivers license test (failed previously 4 times) and just got the confirmation that my company passed the pre-screening. Now I'll gather all the personal information for the Nominee Application Package!... question what is the timeframe since the Nominee Application to the PR invitation or next step? 8 weeks? 9 months?

Hi guys, I need help!

My employer prepared and sent pre-screen application to OINP in January but it came back because stream is closed. Now it's almost April and it is still not opening. The problem is that I have only one year work visa that I got trough working holiday and it expires on 15th June this year (in 2,5 months).

Looks like even if the stream opens and he gets approved, my work visa will expire by then. I work here in Ontario for him for 9months.

After my visa expires I will go back home to Croatia.

Question:
Can my employer make a job offer to me as a foreign worker that lives abroad? Do I need to have a valid work visa for him to hire me? I am confused because in the applicant guide it says that if he gets approved, he needs to give me a job offer with my start date but how can he do that if I am not allowed to work until I get provincial nomination? And I can not get provincial nomination without sending my package with all documents (and job offer in it).I should get provincial nomination and then get work permit until I get PR. Right?

I am just so confused about employer hiring someone that does not have a work permit and lives outside of Canada. :-[

Please correct me if I misunderstood something.

Thank you in advance!

Ana
