Ontario Nomination Program Processing time

Hello All,

I have 4 years of work experience India as software engineer.
I did 2 years post graduate certificate in Canada , Now i am at work permit , doing full time job in IT

I have given Ielts, but i think i have to retake to reach cut off points.

I came across OINP for which i am eligible which required 2 years of study and job offer in hand.

I am thinking to apply for OINP, so please suggest me if it is the right step and
what are the chances for an IT experienced to get nomination ?
what is the processing time ?
or shall i wait for one year to have Canadian experience.

Well you can wait, and get into the CEC stream too. But first get the IELTS done and then depending on the score maybe you need not even wait for a nomination as your score will be high like 450 + due to your education cred. Also, processing time in an average is 30-60 days, no one stream has leverage over the other, except for the one like entrepreneur stream takes more time..
