Hi,
I submitted my profile as it was (without a Provincial Nomination). Then I received a message that it was accepted into the Entry Pool, and then a couple of weeks later I got a letter saying I was invited to apply for permanent residency.
Along with that last message, I also noticed a message from Ontario saying they would like to consider me for the Nominee program.
My understanding was that the benefit of being a nominee was that it would give you 600 points, making it more likely to get an ITA. However, since I was already invited, I would like to know if there is a benefit to it? or what are the cons. I have been trying to find more readings on this case, but I have failed. Any advice and links are welcome.
Thanks for the help in advance!
