Congrats You should have your PPR request soon. I hope this brings good news to the rest of us too Whats your timeline? When did you finish your meds and has your status changed in ecas?

Thanks mine is the almost the same timeline as yours except mine shows 'Meds Received' but my VO is CPP-O. All the best. There is another person from Manila VO who has the PPR request and status changed to 'Decision Made'. Good Luck and keep us posted

Have not got my file back yet, my file reached to CIO on 15th of last month but no AOR, sent them a query as well, now waiting for reply

Seems like this is a work permit for 2 yrs and then they will process our backlog case.. also as per my consultant they will charge you later. Any suggestion ?

No they charge you all at once. I just got my WP, they charged me for that yesterday plus all the fees for the application as well. Also they will give you the WP till the validity of your passport, so if your passport expires next year then they will give you a 1 yr WP only.

Can i have valuable Forum members opinion on my below query please....

If we travel to Ontario on OWP and then from our local VO if they ask for passports again for PR processing what to do ?
In my case im travelling alone using the OWP. My family will stay back till PR gets processed.
ie when the VO asks for passport again I may be in Ontario on OWP and rest of the family is in India.

I feel most of them who have opted for OWP is going to run into this situation sooner.

Any thoughts ?

Hey Pradeesh,

You will have to send the pp with someone travelling to India or go to India yourself and wait till they stamp the visa. Other option is you can request them to transfer your file to CPP-O, but the transfer taking place is very rare since you will have to have lived in Canada for a year before you can request a transfer.

If you went to Canada using OWP visa, can we transfer our application to be processed in Canada rather than the visa office outside Canada ?
