Hi All...i was reading instruction guide and i read this in the section of work permit visa requirement,..




If you submit a work permit application and you require a temporary resident visa, it is not necessary to make a separate application or pay a separate fee; an officer will issue it at the same time as the documentation necessary for your entry to Canada as a worker.

what is that meaning?

For the principal applicant along with the WP , TRV is also stamped. Fees of 150 CAD for Multiple entry includes the TRV aswell. Its better to fill the TRV for principal applicant also.

(what we write there )


and one more we will fill the form for TRV form for my 3 year daughter or there is no need

Hi,

1. Your job description should be similar to the one that you are doing currently, similar to the title in NOC code you provided ..like Program Manager, Marketing Manager etc (You must have put a job description when filling the PNP forms right? Keep it the same or similar)

2. Again Duties - Keep it aligned to the NOC code you gave, e.g If you give Job Description as 'Marketing Manager' Then the responsibilities will be 'Team Management, Market Analysis etc'

To make life simpler just check the duties here as per NOC code and fill your application accordingly

3. Yes you have to apply for TRV for your daughter too, the application has to be signed by you.

for Job description , i will mentioned the same job detail , what i send first time my job duties of current job to Ontario ( i think that's good)

you can see on the TRV form ,(http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5257B_1.pdf) there is mentioned clearly that this form is for "Spouse , common law partner or dependent child of aged 18 years or older of the principal applicant

There is not mentioned about "Under 18 Years".

that's why i asked that will i apply for my daughter of aged 3 years

and please give me help ( may i right or wrong about understanding )

according to form discussion , i understand that i have to apply

1....I (principal applicant ) will apply for work permit and TRV ( fee is $ 150 + $ 150 )

2... My wife will apply only for TRV ( fee is $ 150)

3...My daughter will apply for TRV ( fee is $ 150)

I submitted my OWP application at VFS, They just took my Work Permit application only and they returned my(principal applicant) TRV form. They took only 150 CAD for me..
2... My wife will apply only for TRV ( fee is $ 150)
You are right. For Spouse, TRV only and fee is 150CAD.

3...My daughter will apply for TRV ( fee is $ 150)

and dear VFS ....stands for

TRV form says, it need not be filled by those dependents who are less than 18 yrs old. I wonder if we dont fill the form
how CIC will know/issue their TRV's in the passport. Any one happened to check on this ?

Hi,

It just means that if your child is 18 or older they should fill the form and sign it, otherwise the parents or legal guardian needs to fill the form on the child's behalf and sign it.

It means that the parents have to fill the form and sign on behalf of minors below 18 years of age.

Only if you come from one of these countries listed here you are exempt from a TRV, otherwise you need to get one

I left them empty, because we don't have employee yet , if your form don't validate write N/A in the boxes.
and the columns with yes or no are just for now not long time. so you should check Yes only for your spouse and children.

LMO Exemption Code is T13 in conjunction with R204(c) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations: “...an agreement entered into by the Minister with a province or group of provinces under subsection 8(1) of the Act.” This code must be used on the WP issued to the applicant.

The open WP should indicate in the “Province” fields and the printed “Conditions” that it is only valid for work performed in the nominating province.

To assist with statistical research, evaluation, and policy development, officers are asked to include reference to the “FSW Backlog Reduction Pilot” in the system notes.

Your fees will be $150 only not $300. Becoz 150 includes work permit and trv fees.

One more thing that if your applying for open work permit, you dont know that what would be your job responsibilities and etc and same was asked by a senior member of this forum "PMM" and he told me that i have to write like "N/A---applying for open work permit" and the same was my understanding.

Hi,

But there is 2 check boxes only in this form , one for principal applicant and one for spouse or child 18 years or older , so in this cases which box to check for a 3 years old child , I think this form is not applicable for children under the age of 18 , moreover there is no signature on this form to be signen on the child behalf , appreciate your reply

the LMO field accept only numeric format , so "T13" is not acceptaable , evenmore , the statement .” This code must be used on the WP issued to the applicant" means that this code should be used by the side who will issue the WP for us , and not us as applicants , please read the statement carefully , appreciate your comments
