Are you paying fees by Demand Draft or Credit Card ?
I was just thinking because Indian Demand Drafts are only valid for 3 months , so I was wondering if you included any new Demand Draft or u might be using Credit Card for fees payment.

I courier my application ..and it reached on 7th Jan ...my bank draft was encashed on 8th Feb. and got my AOR on 14th Feb

Anyone here who applied open work permit w/ dependants? Can you please help me what to do?are your dependants can go with you thru this permit? What did you applied for both spouse & child.are they also included in the application? Any thoughts would be much appreciated.thanks in advance.

Hi, I applied for Open Work Permit for my wife and Student Permit for my child. We receive MR last Feb 5 so maybe I submitted the correct requirements.

In many places its E-medical now. Panel doctor upload your medical results to CIC based on the IME no: present in your medical form IMM-1017

I got my Medicals for OWP this Saturday and completed the medicals same day. It was very simple and took hardly a hour

I am from India and I also submitted my OWP applicaion to NDVO on 29th DEC 2012( receive date).

I sent my original passport also.
But I think I don't have AOR so they didn't sent me MR yet.


What should I have to do now?
How much time it will take ? or OWP will rejected ?

Please guide me...... Thanks.....

In my case they linked the PR and OWP togather. Since ur PR is still in process and UCI has not got generated ur OWP
may take a back seat i feel. But as per the communication from CIC even if we have not submiited the PR application still our OWP
is valid. I think once u get the AOR then u can query CIC delhi for OWP update

congrats on ur medicals. Do u think ur pr processing time will get reduced due to issuance of wp as medicals are being considered for both. Also any change in ur ecas ?
