Friends,

With Grace of Almighty God , I have got approval for OWP - 2 years Validity. Finally Patience paid off and got this approval after 3 Months.

I will be hanging around here in this forum as we are in the same boat till we get our PR under this pilot program and reach our final goal permanently .

I believe some of us have got Cheques for Refund of our Previous PR applications which have been cancelled by CIC . Is any of you able to encash that cheque ? I submitted this cheque to my bank almost 1 month ago and I am still waiting for the credit of this cheque into my account.

Ya I have encashed it. It took around 7-10 day to clear the cheque in HDFC Bank.
An outstation clearing charge Rs.100+taxes are also been debited to my a/c.

Just check with your bank about the cheque status.

Hey Guys! I am new to this forum.

I have few questions for all of you:

1) I got my AOR from CIC on Feb 19th and awaiting my AOR from NDVO. I have not applied for OWP yet due to passport renewal required for my wife. After two months my eCAS status still reads "Application Received". Is it the same status for everyone else who are awaiting their AOR from NDVO ?

2) I have seen only a few people on this forum who have received their AOR from NDVO. Its been almost 3 months since I received my AOR from CIC. Can any one suggest what is going on and how long it is expected to take for AOR and then for process completion ?

3) For those who received their AOR from NDVO, can anyone confirm the email address and subject of the email that the received ?

I just noticed that I got OWP approval email on Aprl 11, which inform me that I shall enter Canada before the validity date of Jun 30, 2015.

Please go to CIC.gc.ca and download fee return form. Fill it up and send it through email. Thats all, it will take 2-3 months.

My OWP application has already completed 60 days on 6th April 2013 but yet MR is not requested.

One of my friend received MR on 54th day after applying.

I've applied directly (i.e. not through VFS). How can I know my application number?
Some members get application number along with MR. Is there any way by which we can get our OWP application number?

You can call to inquiry office(022-67866002)(start at 8 am ) also , u can talk with Customer care executive and over phone u will get the status with your passport number,

I did the mistake of applying online and initially I had no clue regarding from where my application is getting processed, but that mystery got resolved when NDVO asked for my passports. So NDVO was my visa office.

It took Almost 3 months + 1 week from Application till Visa Stamping Jan 1st week - April 2nd Week.

Thanks Chintan, I Checked with Bank and they said system is showing that this cheque is pending in the Clearing. So hopefully 1 more week. I was worried, just in case Bank lost this cheque then it might be a long process to get a new cheque and get the old one cancelled from CIC.
