Yes, you can print and fill the form by pen. In fact certain sections have to be filled that way. Just make sure not to leave out any sections and mark N/A wherever not applicable.

1) Do I need only color copies of all things? Just asking, I am anyway doing it.
2) I am notarising following things
a) English translation document of Birth Certificate
b) Degrees (I know it's not needed as per many)

I am not notarising WES documents, IELTS, employment letters, etc. since it is not required as per application guide. Is that fine?
I asked this because someone in other post said you have to notarise EVERYTHING.

No need to notarize everything. Just translations along with your educational docs.

In education docs, only degrees right. Wes, Trascripts, marksheets, etc. need not be notarised? I know silly question, but I want to get it right.

Have you claimed points for your spouse? If yes, than you need to submit eca, copy of degree, marksheets, transcripts etc etc.

If not, than you dont require to submit anything.

Hi All,

In guide its mentioned that for foreign degrees, only ECA is required.

I am getting confused by the thread. For foreign degrees, do we really need to get degrees certified as-well? Why so? It's clearly mentioned in guide that certified copies of degrees are needed from graduates from Canadian Universities.

Am I missing something here?

Hello All,

I have the following inquiries if you can support me with

1) For the work experience supporting documents, is it acceptable that the HR letter only states that I have been working as a full time employee without stating the number of hours?

2) One of my previous employers (not the current one) is not stating the salary in the HR letter as I have left already, however the salary can be seen in the contract and the pay slips which I will send both (In the pay slip you can see "salary transfer from XXX"), so is that acceptable?

3) Regarding the Settlement funds, I already have the needed amount, however 2 months ago I have bought an asset (car) and I'm planning to sell it once I get the visa. The bank statement can clearly shows that I had this amount of money for the past 3 years in my account, and I can translate the car ownership and amount of value. Is that acceptable? or what to do in this case?

4) For the ties to Ontario, I don't have currently any but I'm intending to stay there cause I'm planning to get my work there. Shall i add this even if i don't have one now (Job offers or jobs applied/interviewed for in Ontario)?

5) I didn't get how to submit the fees with the application package, is there a bank account where I can transfer the money to?

6) If I have passed the 45 days without sending my documents, will I be eligible for a second round of Ontario nomination afterwards?

Hello, I am new to this forum and its my first post towards canadian immigration.

I have few questions if someone can help ....I calculated my CRS along with spouse IELTS on cic website and found , my current score is 373 with my current IELTS score which is
R 7.0 , L 7.5, S 7.0 , W 6.0 BUT if I reappear and score R 7.0, L 8.0 , S 7.0 , W 7.0 then I will be able to get 434 score.

I am interested in Ontario immigration based on more then 400 scores. Currently I am passing FSW with 70 points with spouse.

My Questions:

If I get 434 will I surely get ontario nomination , my current occupation is Marketing Specialist

What is 2nd post secondary diploma/certificate as per indian qualifications. I did bachelors in computer applications, post graduate diploma in computer applications and then MBA . which will be considered as diploma/certificate of 2nd post secondary

My MBA is 15 months course which I completed from UK, its not 2 years programme, so here will be any problem if we compare it to canadian masters , bacuase usually master in canada is 2 years. I mean will I be able to get 23 points against masters

What I am saying is that members of the thread are submitting certified copies of degrees. These are only required from CEC Candidates.

I have foreign degrees. And I have ECA. So as per the guide I only need to submit ECA copy.

Am I missing something here?

Even I got this confusion. I have ECA done for my degree.
As per application guide for Ontario Human Capital Priorities Stream, section 3.2, it states only ECA if it is foreign degree.
Certified copy is required for degree got from Canada

Can somebody already done confirm ?

Hi all,

Need your input. My score is 454 and while I was hoping the draw on 18 Dec would bring the score to 450, that didn't happen. Instead I received a letter of interest from Ontario. Do you all think I should apply for the nomination or is there any chance of a cutoff of 454 before the end of Jan? I was hoping to avoid the double effort of nomination and PR application.

Also, once you apply any idea how long it takes for them to issue a nomination?
