Ontario - Closed until November 2016

Hello,

I was told by my agency that Ontario has stopped issuing Invitations until November 2016. With this we are left with only provincial nominee program which is open and currently accepting applications - Prince Edward Island. As this province is not heard much within the migration community, I am not sure if I should go ahead.

Secondly, I have noticed that jobs (full time and part time) are mostly in developed provinces like Ontario.

Can anybody provide more details about PEI.

Yes, it is true that Ontario is on pause mode until Oct/ Nov 2016.
Some other details about your profile like IELTS score, Education & NOC would help the seniors in this group to guide you effectively.

Depending on whether you speak French or your particular NOC, there might still be other PNP options for you.

If you could provide some additional information about your profile, that would be very helpful.

Beside that, PEI is a very nice province, so if you could make PEI PNP work, I think that would still be a good option.

Read about SINP, QSWP, NSNP and NBPNP - maybe on of these will be an option for you...

Thank you for responding to my query.

CSR Score is 370. I have taken IELTS - second attempt and waiting for results. My previous score in IELTS is 7.5.

I have checked about other provinces and unfortunately none are open and for couple of provinces I am not eligible. One of the province is exclusively open for IT professionals, second one requires employment offer from an employer or must have studied in the province or prior work experience.

The options are getting narrowed as I dig. I have spoken to the respective provincial immigration office but there is no positive result.

Regarding PEI - I am little worried as I haven't seen any job postings in the province when I have checked on LinkedIn, Workopolis etc. Also on Monster - I have seen lot of opportunities for sales, customer support but not for recruitment/HR.

Can you any one provide a contact from an employment agency or from employment services within immigration who can assist me.

With a CRS score of 370, you are likely not eligible for OINP anyway, so no point in waiting

My friend submitted OINP master stream paper application in April first week. Does anyone have any idea how would it go from there? She has not received AOR, Nd her work permit is for one year only, expiring in 7 months . Does anyone know how does master stream apps get processed?

I had applied for OINP in Dec 2015, received AOR yesterday - June 2016. They are taking really long, so best your friend can do is wait. Good luck and keep hope!

After I received the ITA from CIC, I stopped looking at PNP-related information, so I'm sorry I can't help. I received an ITA from Ontario to apply for their PNP program, if that helps...

I had received a PT for the Human Capital Priorities Stream.

I applied three times; Oct 2015, Jan 2016, April 2016 NO RESPONSE :'( :'(
