Online visitor visa timelines

Hi All,

I have applied online visa on Dec 5th from USA. still i didn't get any response and it is in submitted state. Generally how long does it take to get the approval ?

Any one submitted the application online recently from USA ?

Finally i got approval yesterday.

I put one in on December 5th as well - on behalf of my husband. We haven't received a response either. Although ours has said for at least 8 days that it is being reviewed for eligibility. I suspect we will hear more in the new year.

Passport request on 18th
Passports delivered to VAC NY on 19th
Passport received by me on 27th

My husband applied on Dec. 5th and we haven't heard anything. Last night I got this lol:
