I even saw someone who applied on 22nd May who got the approval . Don't know what's going on

I got mail that your application is updated but when i sign in on my cic application there was no message nothing , it was just same like before and i am really tense that why they mail me if there no change in application? Have anybody idea about this

I saw an update in my account last week. When I clicked on check full application status, besides the Background check cell, it said 'Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.' This is the status since last week.

Anyone here with the same status? or have any idea about the same?
