Sometimes, even if they open the file or save, we get an email whereas online it doesn't show any update or change in the application steps.

This happend to me couple of times, last year as well.

Atleast they are opening our files let's be happy.

Thanks for the quick reply...that information is helpful as i did not know that if they open or do any activity on the application there is an email triggered for that...
As you its good that they are doing some thing with the application... there is an email on daily basis in the mailbox so lets hope for the best..!!!

Does it make a huge difference if online TRV applied within Canada using the representative form for my parents .. if yes what is the difference??

For me it depends on number documents/original copies you are going to submit.
If paper based, it's unlimited. If Online you have to scan, merge, compress as the max size of each file is 4MB.

I did online and unfortunately missed Proof of Funds and other important document.

Coming to the timelines : both are same, from the applicants in this forum.

I am referring to TRV from India.

urgent help needed for applying visitor visa after a work permit refusal (reason unable to provide sufficient proof of relationship).since my wife has only 6 months in her PGWP, I cannot reapply for sowp.is it okay if I apply for a visiting visa. what documents I need to show them that we are a true couple and more proof of our relationship other than marriage certificate.

I had same case. I advice to wait for another 6 months. Also, hire canadian lawyer to deal your case, NOT by yourself or by your backhome agent.

Can you please tell me that in your previous post u said u missed proof of funds and other documents. Is this same application which is approved. U applied online right. do you have any invitation? Anyway once again congrats man. God bless you.

It's the same application. BTW I uploaded NOAs for the past 7 years.
I guess, that worked out.

I got SA for my wife and applied TRV. If you are applying for your wife, you could also do the same.
