Online Travel Document - Collection

Hello,
I'm currently abroad and my PR card expired. I'm planning to apply for an Online Travel Document to return bacl and wondering once approved if it will be sent by email or I should submit my passport to the Visa center to get it sticked into my passport.
Your help will be appreciated.

Make sure it is a PR travel document. If you don't meet RO, you should go through a land border by car or foot.

I meet all the conditions but what I'm asking for is where the PR travel document will be collected if i apply online?

It's better to go through a land border by car or foot by using your expired PR card. Btw, why didn't you tell someone to check your mailbox and courier the PR card to you?

I think the VO of your current location if you need to submit your passport for that.
