Online Status of Application

I have sent my application at Feb 2013, but my online status is still "application received" (and some people from forum already get MR).
People at this forum say that some visa offices update application status online regularly, but some don't.
Does somebody know about Ottawa office - how regularly they update online status ? (I assume, my application was sent there)

Your application Is in Ottawa

I'm not sure what you're asking though as yu appear to have answered your own question

Do note that there are still MR requests outstanding from 2012 as well as jan 2013

It could be both, there is no way of becoming sure of how they change your status, or when.
If I am not mistaken, most of Feb/Mar applicants are in "application received" stage.
Only few handfuls have "In process" status.

After getting AOR, your account will become active with in 5-10 days.

Thanks I just checked the status and my account is active and the status says Application Received. Is this OK? When the status will be in process?

Also what is difference between the link related to application within or outside Canada ?

Yes this is normal. Your status will change when you receive Medical Request from CIC.

I am not sure what they mean by within Vs outside Canada. Because all CEC/PNP applicants are put with outside Canada link.
Anyways I don't think it matters a lot.
