Online status during passport trequest

Is there any change in online status when passport request is sent by CIC after medical is approved? I am checking status everyday through my account using GC key and would like to check whether there is any possibility to find from status about passport request.

Earlier i used to get email for any document and process like submission of PCC or medical test. Recently i created account on myaccount page and have linked application. I have a doubt that this will stop receiving request through email and i need to check status on messages on my account. This is why I wanted to check whether there is any possibility to find from status whether passport request is sent or not.

There was no change for ours, we even received our passport request by email, and the In progress to Decision Made didn't change until about a week after we received our email for the passport.

It pretty much says "In progress" through the whole process. It gets pretty depressing checking all the time to no changes but I am sure your notices for any updates will be still sent to your email. I wouldn't worry it will be over soon enough!
