Hi everyone. Right now I'm working on an online business so that I can have the necessary income to move up to Canada with my boyfriend next year. Then we can live together for a year and apply for PR under Common Law. This will mean that I'm in Canada on a visitor visa, which leads to my question.
I asked about whether or not an online business would be a problem briefly before and I was told that it would be fine as long as the business wasn't Canadian. I'm from the US and my income has nothing to do with Canada, so I figured it was okay. But some recent discussions on the forum have made me question whether or not I need to ask again and mention more specifics.
I work with an online group whose founder is in the UK. Everyone who works with the group targets the UK marketplace, not Canada or anything. The only connection to Canada the group has is that members from any part of the world can join and there are members who are from Canada. However, as I said the group has no physical location or building, it's all online. And the clients are all in the UK.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
