Did you have a study permit? If so and it is a DLI, yes.

I believe that online courses are not treated as Canadian education. A rule is to spend 50% of the course duration in Canada. As this is an online course, they will not meet this criteria. However, they can still gain point for that education but not Canadian Degree points.
