My perception that online application is less forms and less paper work, am I right?

I mean no scanning of all passport pages, forms are ready to be filled in, online tools to catch errors before they happen.

Scans instead of printed forms and copies?

Create an account, have a look at it and make your own opinion of it.

Yes you are right, it is far less work than printing and photocopying. Plus it is also processed faster than paper applications.

Why do you have such a horrible attitude on here. No one is forcing you or paying you to reply or "help" people on here. Whatever is frustrating you in your personal life, you do not need to come on here with ur passive aggressive negativity. Tired of having to come across your clearly condescending replies. You must be horrible to deal with in person.

Thank you for confirming my observation.

I started this thread as discussion of differences. Also, part of me wants to know why they are different, is the gov streamlining the process? BTW, I'm attaching my passport stamps to the online app even though they didn't ask for it.

Don't attach any documentation that isn't requested. It's people that are processing your app and trust me, they do not want to have to go through unecessary pages on documenation, so for your own sake and theirs, Just stick to the data page or whatever else is requested.

I like your perspective, thank you

I personally uploaded every page of my passport in 1 pdf. Did the same for my pr card renewal. I don’t think it’s an issue as it looks like some people get asked for passport copy later in the process. I agree online is easier than paper.

Totally agree with you. Random requests for all pages is most likely going to delay the processing. I’d rather be proactive than reactive.
