why are you sharing a link from a non official website.go to the IRCC website and click on apply for citizenship then follow the steps and you will what i am talking about.
by the way IRCC is the only source of trusted info (official government website).
I was searching for news release but could not find hence i provided the link i saw in other thread.

I am not sure why you are posting multiple times talking about that link without posting the link. can you share the link then?

you will find nothing in news realeses,i already checked...that is why i started this thread.
but if you follow the steps i told you earlier it will lead you into an online tool if you are between 18 and 54 years old and meet some other basic requirements.
it clearly states on the website that we are testing a new citizenship application online, the page is updated of today's date(december-02-2020)

great, does this mean paper applications are screwed? If i am not wrong, similar thing happened to paper PR apps when express entry came in, they didnt go any faster!

Here is the link if anyone wants: https://citapply-citdemande.apps.ci...6tn3xf1AXrfwX5CpMppqAbdDRF67VDJCESpphGqCxC1OA
thanks for sharing the link.by the way a friend of mine just told me that even though it says you can apply online,it is still not functional...after she filled up the forms and uploaded the docs she couldn't submit it,keeps getting an error message.
as for processing times i totally agree that applying online most likely is not going to be any different from paper just like other immigration categories, but it is more convenient and secure applying online i guess.
