Hello folks,

Just wondering if one can conduct a business from canada if he/she has a employer restriction from a PNP program. Like the business is going to be completely online where the supplier will be based out in china and products will be sold out in united states. no involvement in canadian labour market.

Please help if you have any idea on this topic.

Thanks

Online business is completely borderless. So if you are just some website does not matter. The question is what are the address of your business. If your address is promoted as in Canada, you will have to deal with Canadian laws regarding business in Canada. As for pnp, I got that and it is my understanding that if you are a PR no matter under which program you entered there is no legal limits regarding your rights to conduct business (as far as I know).

With regards to employer restrictions. That becomes a matter of contract between you and your employer. So if your employer says you cannot then you may loose your job if you choose to do so anyway.

Good luck
