Online Application : 2022 Tax Question

- I am yet to file Income Tax for the assessment year 2022.
- Online form asks if you filed taxes for 2022 and upon choosing No, it prompts with a sub-question "Required to File" - "Yes/No"
- Any issues if I choose 'Yes" for "Required to File" and submit my application.

If you have filed a minimum of 3 years taxes, I don't see the problem for 2022. You can always say no because we are still in Feb 2022 so it's ok if you haven't filed but I would advise that you should have filed a minimum of 3 years prior taxes before filing.

If your cases is that you need to file but just that not filed yet:

Required to file : Yes
Taxes filed: No
