As of January I believe you only need one year of skilled work? Its a shame as I hit the 2 year mark in February. Regardless, I am going to post ASAP in January.

Does anyone know if the the forms are going to change? or should I use the ones online and have it all ready to be send on January 1st 2013?

The forms might change. You will have to wait until CIC annouces policy approval of the changes proposed to be effective 01 Jan 2013.
Annoucement expected in Nov/Dec.

T4 and NOA might not be mandatory submission anymore starting 01 Jan 2013.
Expect addition / deletion of some other docs too.

And my visa is valid till September next year... I assume I can extend it easily if I have my PR application in?

Is it for sure that they're changing the rules to the one year requirement instead of two years?

They also announced this today: that CIC will be accepting more immigrants under CEC in 2013. I think it may be related to the fact that they're lowering the requirement to one year, which means more people will apply under this stream.
