Hi,

I submitted my application to become a Canadian citizen on November 12th (accepted on November 25th) and have yet to receive an AOR... In the meantime, I can see that the background check has been completed in February, and I've successfully passed the Citizenship test early August. But that's pretty much it. I also sent a couple of webforms to IRCC to know when I should expect an AOR. I just wanted to check if others have had comparable experiences. I travel a lot for work and, if it takes significantly longer to get it processed, I may no longer be eligible to even keep my PR status, let alone become Canadian..

Cheers!

Purely by being on this forum for a long period , below is what I think ( and not legal advice ):
1. Some folks do not get AOR. Some folks miss/delete the email which is the AOR. As long as you moved to next stage ( test, background ) you would be good. You may need the application file number which comes with the AOR & I believe test request as well.

2. The more serious concern: You have to be able to maintain PR status till you complete your citizenship oath else you become ineligible:

It just means that you either lost the mail (junk mail that was automatically deleted maybe?) or there was a bug and you never received it. It's way past the AOR stage at this point so it doesn't matter, you very probably won't receive a belated mail, and don't need it. Just make sure your oath invitation mail doesn't get lost! You should be fine since you passed your test, so I assume you got the test mail...
I agree with the post above, the only important point is to make sure you maintain your PR status till the oath day.
