Would be asking for concrete proof that your representative submitted the application and so did your spouse. Would also be asking for proof of payment information to the Canadian government for your application.

Actually I am the sponser. I have paid the fees and have receipt of that.

Have your lawyer if they are your representative follow-up with IRCC but ask to be sent a copy of all communication.
