Most of online sites offer good deals on 2 way tickets that the 1 way tickets become infeasible. What are your thoughts about that? Are you buying 1 way to 2 way tickets for your immigrant family?
There used to be extended/flexible tickets...
There used to be more options than those bundled deals...

Your question isn't clear.

Two way flight tickets are often less expensive than one way tickets. Even if you are just planning on flying one way - it usually makes more sense to buy a two way ticket. Is that what you are asking / trying to confirm?

We got good deals on one-way tickets when I was flying to Canada to become a PR. He used his travel points, so that might have helped. The one-way ticket from Jamaica worked out less expensive than a return ticket would be normally.

Same here, when i travel to and from mexico to canada,
usually i get one way tickets that are cheaper than buying a 2way return, maybe it depends on what country your going to and what city you fly out of.

If i fly from mexico city to calgary its about 225. and if i fly from guadalajara to calgary its about 450.
even though mexico city and gdl are only about 5 hours away from eachother. weird. :-\
lol.

Does this make sense? Are you buying return tickets for your family?

That should be the logic however the price is either very close that buying a return is not bad...any more thoughts

This makes sense however it is not the usual case..

Someone suggested buying a two way ticket with the return during a dead season. When is the dead season? (Season when travelers usually do not fly to Canada)

My husband complete the immigration process two years ago - so no, I'm not looking to buy tickets for my family.

Are you looking to land as a PR or to visit? It's much better to come visit WITH a return, they will see you WILL return (according to the ticket) and you'd have a better chance at getting in. Buy a one-way on a visit and you increase chances of being denied.

Then just a one way. There's no point in getting a return unless you plan on returning once you land.
