Hi,

do you guys know where one way tickets can be booked for a affordable price?
I want to fly in the second week of October from Germany to Calgary.
Airtransat operates only until the first week of October.
All the other airlines are too expensive for a one way ticket.
Any advice?

Thanks,

dina87

look at option with Icelandair, they fly from northern Europe, but they have pretty good deals ( and you can have a "free" stopover in Iceland up to 7 days). From Germany to Copenhagen it should not be too expensive, so that might be an option.
Sweden

I don't know where in Germany you are flying from but check www.expedia.ca

One way ticktes are miore expensive than the return i am a travel agent and i know this things, better buy a rteurn tickets and save money

Agreed. Buy a two way and don't use half of it.

If a return flight is cheaper than one-way than book the return and cancel the other ticket after you arrived in Canada. I did it, too when I came here from Germany because return was $730 and one-way was $1800.

Thank you all for your advice :)

You don't get anything back if you don't ask. Cheaper flights are usually non-refundable and I got not even €15 taxes back

is dependce for the rules of the air your are booking , but even if you are not goign back you are savings money , i always advicing my clients to by return if is cheaper better in you pocket than to airlines packet /

hey if you buy one way ticket that will cost 75% of full ticket, so if possible buy both way ticket and save your 25% also ticket prices are high cause of the season.

Hey so I just booked one way ticket from Germany to Winnipeg for me and my baby for July and it only cost me 850 euro... It's getting cheaper now because the travel agent we talked to said that lots of people don't use the return ticket and if you don't cancel it you can get fined...hope this helps :)

i used Condor before they were cheap, and a lot cheaper than return tickets but they don't operate year round.

Hey,
I heard that they aren't good as well but we didn't use them we went to a travel agency named TUI you have probably heard of it :)
