hi Y'all:

I know similar questions have been asked and answered on this forum, so I apologize in advance for bringing it up again.... But...

I'm getting married in November, to a Canadian, and my then-husband will be sponsoring me. I've been advised by an immigration lawyer in Halifax that -- once we're married, which is happening abroad -- I can come back to Canada, and we'll file our "Family Class" applications. (in other words, we're going the "out of country" / "family class" route, because my legal residence is in the U.S. And Canadian immigration knows my legal residence is in the US. But I'll actually be in Nova Scotia, and married, when the paperwork is literally filed. Per the immigration lawyer, this is the right way for us to go.) Anyway, so -- "Visa Office requested for the process of your application"?? Is this... Buffalo? New York City? Um... Nova Scotia? (I've seen the warnings not to put in "Sydney," so... I'm really confused.)

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

There's really only one option and that is Buffalo. They might transfer your application on to for example New York, but you don't get to pick that. All outland applications processed in the US are sent to Buffalo.
Or rather, just so I don't confuse you, you send the application to Mississauga and then they will send it to Buffalo when they approve the sponsorship.
