On TRV, Should I Join the Asylum programme

Hi guys,

Please I urgently need your advice and suggestions.

My family crossed the US-Canada border to file for asylum in Canada. They are currently asylum claimants whereas I have a TRV that has allowed me to come legally to visit them. I am planning to go back to my home country but afraid I might not be allowed back to check on them.

Should I just go ahead and join their application as a dependent or I can easily return back to Africa and come back to visit them at another time since my visa is still valid for another year but I cant stay more than 6months at a time in Canada.

Seniors here, please I seek your comments.

How old are you? if you comply with your TRV requirements, there should be no reason why you can't return.

Thank you for your response, I am in my forties.

I need to be sure that my travelling back to the home country will not in any way affect their own hearing even though I am on a Visit visa.

My wife has already included me as a dependent and will be able to file for me on successfully receiving a positive response and PR.
