ON PNP - November 2014 Applicants any updates?

Hi Friends,
I received my nomination on April 29. There is a note mentioning that - Please note that this nomination is not valid for CIC's Express Entry program.

Does this mean that we cannot get additional 600 points for EE? And that the only way to apply is through CIC Provincial nominees program ??

Hi, When did you apply for PNP and when did you get your file number?

I called the PNP office yesterday and they told me to email them about the certificate. After I emailed them, I got the reply.
"Please be advised that records indicate the file referenced is in queue for review and assessment by an officer. We anticipate correspondence on this case will be sent in approximately 6-8 weeks. Thank you for your interest in our program."

So really no idea when can I get the certificate.....

Could you tell me about your BCPNP file number?Mine is SO-14-68XX and submitted my application on October 24, 2014.

i got my certificate last week, ON PNP is not eligible for express entry.

only way is apply under normal process of CIC PNP category. average processing time is 8 months

This does mean that you can not get the additional 600 points in EE. You can still create an EE profile and hope to get the ITA but without the 600 points from the nomination you could be waiting a while.

So, yes you have to apply to CIC with the regular PNP paper application.

I have a feeling that regular PNP processing times are going to start to be faster once they get caught up on all the backlog of applications that were sent in before EE started. Basically by creating EE they have eliminated a lot of time that would have been spent opening and declining applications that did not meet basic requirements. The whole CIC system should work better and faster.
