So I have the work permit, but I just realised it has my old expired passport number on it.
I renewed my passport after applying for IEC and I updated my ETA with the new passport.
I read some things online saying that, 'your work permit expires with your passport'
But the CIC site says this:
'The officer will check your documents and print out your work permit if you meet the requirements to enter Canada.
Your work permit is still valid even if it is attached to your old passport number.'
That makes it seem fine. Anyone ekse experienced this? Do I need to do anything?
