The reason why im asking is because finally after a year of Sponsorship approval my ecas updated with the third line that medicals have been recieved is that a good sign? and also does that mean they will not request them again?

I was recently asked to resubmit medical due to expiry. They will need a valid medical to enter into Canada, but there is a chance that the visa officer will extend the medical for you.

Please I just want to know about this 60-62 days of assessment before aor or its after one gets air and u start to count the 60-62 days to get SA, as am confused some here get SA 10-14 days after air and mine now is 98 days still no update..

My process began in Vienna 30.11.2015
Medical done/ Fee paid at the start
Passport request/ New size Photos 26.01.2016
Sent passport and photos through Canada visa application centre (CVAC) in Kosovo 01.02.2016

Almost a month no word from Vienna when should the passport be returned?

I am sorry that I did not answer to your question because I wanted other people to jump in and share their views. Since you did not address that to me that is the reason I kind of left it alone for others to contribute also.

I have a CIC outland PR template, which actually show how CIC operates after we send our application to them. Those who sponsored their spouses up to 2010 will remember this. When sponsor was ready to sponsor his/her spouse, he/she could requested the sponsorship kit from CIC Mississauga and that kit use to come with a template that I am referring to.

Well, on that template CIC shows that they pay attention on your medical as the very last thing because your PR visa is issued based on the validity of your medical status. Even if you do upfront medical, they will look at it only when everything is done on your file.

Usually SA takes round about those days 60-65. I was reviewing someone's GCMS notes I found out that person had the same issue like you. He/she had to Call Centre time and time again to request his/her SA. Now the person knew that his/her application was approved because he/she got an email from CIC that the application was approved and sent to the embassy for final processing.

Call them at least once a week and see what they had to say.

I would lie to you if I tell you when your PPT will be back. You're already at the end of your ordeal use your patience. That is what I can say.

Hey Eagle,

I finally got PPR on Feb 8th after waiting almost 12mnths (4days b4 1 complete yr). I do believe that the refugee processing within Canada did in fact slow down or play a role in the processing of spousal sponsorships (especially those put in in Feb and March 2015) because my visa office has already issued over 11 PPR's in Feb month alone. Apps that went in from Feb-April have gotten PPR and now late April apps are receiving PPRs, usually based on our past trend and stats for KVO, PPRs for Feb and March 2015 apps would have been given in Nov and Dec 2015. Nyhow, I hope there will be a lot of PPRs in the following months for every VO. PPR dust to all!! ;D ;D ;D
