Note that the website for the processing times hasn't been updated since December 1st. If they were working on applications received October 5th back when it was updated on December 1st, it makes sense that applications from late October would have been approved recently. No idea why you haven't gotten your SA yet, but you should certainly receive it earlier than February.

Thank you elokuu
That makes more sense to me and more reasonable, seeing that's theres lots of movement going on in the October Outland 2015 thread

98 percent of the applicants are receiving their AOR and SA from that thread ,so I couldn't understand why I was quoted my SA will be either in January or February-

well I can understand January but not February - that's way to late
Hopefully I will hear soon but my main question was when you receive your AOR is it from the officer at missussauga or is the file transferred to visa office already. I am the sponsor and it show "we started processing your file on December 4, 2015" then one day after I got AOR (I was only able to login weeks Aftet to see all this, just couldn't get in..., I was only able to get in from the applicant UCI (he had a existing on)

Thank you for your reply

Hello Bubbles87,

I am so happy for you and proud to walk with you through advices like those who got DM and visas before you. It's all done and the dice has been rolled down. Merry Christmas and Happy New year dear. I might not be as exact as possible but for now the boll is in the net...Congratulations and I wish you safe landing.

What a day it must be for you!!! lol I always smile with those who are smiling and crying with those who are crying. I cannot make everybody happy but I vowed to help those who really need my advices even if it goes in the opposite way. Look where you have come along compare to where you're now, for sure you are not the same person before you start this immigration experience. I am sure you can also help other people on this forum, don't keep this experience to yourself because someone will need you somewhere.

We received AOR from Mississauga about a month after sending in the application, and then SA another month after that. If the "Sponsorship Application Status" side of ECAS says "In Process", the "Permanent Residence Application Status" says Application Received, and you haven't received a notification about SA (by e-mail or regular mail), you don't have SA yet. We got the email notification, but the sponsorship side of ECAS still says In Process, even after the PR application status changed to Decision Made last week.

If the PR application status in ECAS says In Process, it should mean that sponsorship has been approved - this second stage of the application won't begin processing without the sponsor having been approved first.

Thanks Eagle! Your kind words throughout this process have meant a lot to me! And yes, I have learnt so much in this process and I am as ready as ever to help anyone who needs my help! I will stick around this forum and contribute my two cents whenever needed!

That is wonderful dear and I will be so happy to see you sharing with your experience with others. Don't forget this, when you land in Canada after a month order your GCMS notes so that you can have a full picture of your file. Trust me, you will double your knowledge and will be confident to meet most of the questions thrown at you. Let me tell you this, 98% of people they stop requesting their GCMS when they receive their visas and never want to know the rest because they are done done lol. But if you want to be here at the front line helping others I will strongly recommend you to do that in the future. I wish all the best to both of you (spouse).

Best Regards

That's makes so much sense, now I have a better understanding of where I stand now I guess I just have to wait for my SA

Thanks again for shinning some light

Hey eagle,

Hate to bother you again but just a question regarding ecas. If on the sponsor ( my husband) changes from application recieved to in process does that mean eligibility passed?

Thanks your great help God bless you

I saw the light before you lol, We can bet right now for $100. Tell him/her to order his GCMS set again he/she will see a big change.

Lol! I don't like to make bets that I know I'll lose!! Haha so do you think if I order notes again in February that I should see some changes in my file?

Hi Jimmi64,

I know it is depressing specially for applicants who once lived in Canada then.... so just be patient everything will be alright.

No until it says Decision Made. Also Decision Made has two sides rejection or acceptance, the sponsor has to wait until he gets his decision email or letter.
