Old Express Entry Profile had inaccurate data (declared myself single when I have a husband). I corrected the issue on my current EE Profile and received ITA and then we both did Biometrics. Now I just realized that I might have misrepresented myself. Do i need an LOE? Anyone with the same issue and got PR? Reason for declaring myself single was because I honestly didn't expect to get an ITA at that time and was trying to create a profile without any guidance and thought the relationship status was editable. Once I made that mistake of declaring myself single, I withdrew that profile immediately. That was 2024 and we got an ITA 2026 of April. I also didn't mention it in LOE but did add the EE number when asked did you have a previous EE profile. My question now is should I have explained this mistake? I honestly didn't want to misrepresent and have declared my husband in previous work permit applications.

Since you withdrew that old profile and declared your husband correctly on the current one, you're in a decent position. The fact that you provided the old EE profile number when asked shows you weren't trying to hide it.

That said, I'd add a short LOE now through a webform just to be safe. Something like "I created an EE profile in 2024 where I incorrectly selected single. I realized the error, withdrew the profile, and created a new one in 2026 with the correct marital status." Keep it brief and factual. Proactively explaining a mistake always looks better than having an officer discover it and wonder why you didn't mention it.
