Old application vs. new application?

I applied for immigration on 11 Feb 2008 (need 62-68 months to process) so shall I cancel the old application or wait until the visa office start the processing?

I send all documents including my french language and experience certificate. If u want to know anything u can mention them then i can tell u it is necessary or not... All the best
