Hi all old applicants for federal skilled workers,

It is very bad news to hear that Citizenship and Immigration Canada is planning to close our files after waiting for many years in the queue , and this action is against our humanity and against Canada's justice and fairness.

But they can not close our files unless the Canadian parliament approve to do .

So we can send our petition directly to all members of the Canadian parliament and senate through their E-mail addresses enhancing them to oppose and vote against that unfair proposed legislation.

Here is the web page of all members of the Canadian parliament: parl.gc.ca/MembersOfParliament/MainMPsCompleteList.aspx?TimePeriod=Current&Language=E

Here is the web page of members of the senate: parl.gc.ca/SenatorsMembers/Senate/SenatorsBiography/ISenator.asp?Language=E

Please, please dear old applicant tell all your friends and family members to send their petition directly to all members of the Canadian parliament and senate.

Don’t forget to put your name ,file number and phone number in the end of your petition.

You can copy and paste this wording :

Dear Sir/ Madam,

We write to you hoping you would resurrect our faith in Canada. It was with the conviction of this faith that we submitted our application to immigrate to Canada. We are applicants in the skilled worker category who’ve been waiting for years for a simple determination on our application, suspending all planning and foregoing of numerous life opportunities because Canada might call onto us to come. Throughout these years, it has become increasingly difficult if not impossible to believe in the fairness of Canada any more.

It didn’t start out this way. We believed we were endeavoring to immigrate to a land whose people and government were fair and its administration of affairs efficient and compassionate. Instead, your administration of the process has shown a lack of compassion and understanding of immigration and immigrants, their humanity, dignity, their aspirations, hopes and dreams. We are constantly heartbroken with a system that appears indifferent to the consequences of its unfairness and disregard of basic norms of human decency.

From where we stand and what we observe, CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION CANADA keep changing the rules of immigration mid-stream, process applications out of order, keep advertising and accepting skilled worker applications in the very same categories for which thousands of applications are already pending. CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION CANADA keep applicants waiting for years allegedly for background checks. While older applicants have to endure sometimes years for their background checks to conclude, the newer applicants effortlessly pass this hurdle in a matter of few months.

CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION CANADA shift and shuffle around the applications from embassy to embassy allegedly for “expediting the process,” only to go ahead and send medicals out of order. From where we stand, the shuffling has not led to any efficiency or expediency in the process. Rather it has led only to longer delays as evident by their own published timelines, which continue to stretch into the future every time we have checked the website .

Please Sir/Madam , for the sake of Canada and the Canadians, for the sake of fairness and justice. If you want the best for Canada. we kindly ask you to oppose and vote against the proposed legislation , which present in pages 154 and 155 of 2012 Canadian budget that suggests to refund federal skilled worker applicants who applied prior to February 27, 2008 and close their files. It is disrespectful and unfair to those who’ve been patiently waiting their turn to observe others simply bypass the line and go through. While their own files become ignored and closed.

Finally, we hope this letter would persuade you to take a moment in your day and meditate on what it is like to be in our position.

Respectfully submitted on behalf of myself and those that unjustly treated old applicants in the skilled worker category.

Yours,

hi all

As a rapid response to my messages that was sent to all members of the Canadian parliament , Jim Karygiannis is a member in the parliaments sent me an E-mail telling me that he care about this matter and asked me to sign this petition and here is the link:

jimkarygiannis.net/petition_and_action_requests/immigration_backlog

so please i ask you to go through this link and sign the petition, and tell your friends and families about it.

Though,I do not fall in this category of applicants .However,I would still encourage people to do this.Today, you guys are victim of this decision.Tomorrow, I can be and others as well.I would say let not this minister do "Goonda Gardi" and do whatever he wants to do.Fight back ,at the most you will loose but that will give you a satisfaction that you guys gave your best.If life is going to be tough for this minister then in future he will think twice before taking such decisions.

Thanks,
Trick
