OIPNP Nomination Expiry- PR Application is in Progress

My Ontario certificate getting expired next month and my PR application is still in progress..Is there any issue if my nomination expires while application is in progress.

I am not sure why Ontario nomination is valid only for few months? Is any one else facing the same problem?

Nomination recieved : 31st aug 2015.
Nomination Expiry date: 20 FEB 2016.
PR AOR Received: OCT 2015.

Am sure all provincial nominations are valid for only 6 months. You being one of the early applicant, can you reach out to Ontario and find out if they need to do anything from their end. You can also call CIC help desk to find out if it's fine with them.

It would really beneficial to all of us if you can share your findings as well.

There might some ppl who would faced this issue. I saw a posting from kiran_6sb with a similar query. Probably, you can reach out to him if he got any reply in this regard.

You might get PPR before it expires

It should not affect your application status.
Your have already applied within nomination period. CIC will take care of it and if it goes beyond nomination period then too your application should be processed.

You should confirm this from CIC as well.
