OINP Work Permit at Border

Hey,

I went to Fort Erie a few weeks ago to activate my work permit from OINP but CBSA said this has to be done online through Vegreville. My lawyer sent me and after he maintained they should of issued it. He also said that he consulted other lawyers and they agreed. Is this true - should i try again at the border to save time?

Apply online. My friend got her work permit application approved in 8 days.
