Hey guys,

I am so confused I am working Full time from Dec 2014 and I got my work permit from Feb 10 2015 to Feb 5 2018. I made my EE profile on feb 3 2016 and got OINP invitation on Feb 8 2016 my docs reached them on Mar 1 2016 and I got AOR on Aug 19 2016. Today I went to a lawyer he scared me a lot he said they might refuse my application as I made my profile week before my work permit starts. I am so nervous now he asked me to withdraw my application and wait for OINP to start again.
Can anyone help me on this. Please !

Honestly, the lawyer you went was just trying to scare you, so you pay him as much money he asks.

You can count your experience since the day you applied for PGWP. For Example Jan 7, 2015.

I would suggesst you to go another immigration layer for advice. You can also call/email the PNP office for an update, since it has been more than 90 days.

Dont listen or spend money on lawyer. He doesn't seem smart. If he is a some immigration consultant, i would suggest dump him and do it on your own. I went to a consultant too but he was ignorant about many aspects and wasn't even ready to learn new information. He thought he knew everything and asked me more money to "correct" my case when there was nothing wrong in the first place. I dumped him and did my application on my own. Saved few thousand bucks and unnecessary stress. Good luck.

Also, IRCC did acknowledge my work experience gathered from the day I got degree completion letter and applied for PGWP. I got PGWP later after few weeks. So dont worry and go ahead.

I think he is a Punjabi consultant, not a lawyer. Dump him my friend, you are much more educated and intelligent than him. Research and study everything from CIC and OINP websites, call them and ask about your doubts and take help from fellow applicants here on forum. Better to take a week off from work and do it on your own then wasting $3500 on consultant.

I think the same. @mandeep_29 You are perfect lawyer for yourself.
