OINP PhD Stream EOI Scoring Rules Changed!

I just saw this!!! In November 2022 they changed the scoring and they now give points according to what field you study, and many other changes. I am a PhD candidate in law and STEM PhDs are given more points whereas arts and humanities etc get 0!! where you live etc also matters! what the heck?

while BC has made things easier by allowing PhD candidates from all fields to apply, oinp even made it more difficult for graduates of certain fields!! i guess they like to deal with uneducated illiterate ppl with low qualifications and language skills. great choice bravo!!

no, JD is different, it is a lower level. Mine is PhD in law. still a candidate though. passed the comprehensives, so an official candidate.
