I am only claiming 1 year work experience (2 companies). However I do have 1.5 years more in a different country, all experience in the same NOC.

I was thinking of showing all work experience and then submit a Letter of Explanation to explain that I am only claiming 1 year work experience from the 2 companies as they are the only ones I managed to get a detailed reference letter.

Note: In Express Entry, I only mentioned those 2 companies. I didn't mention the 1.5 years work experience that I am not claiming. Would there be an issue of missinterpretation? Should I show all of my work experience history in the application form although I am not claiming those 1.5 years?

I don't think that should be misrepresentation...but there is no harm in mentioning it, although you may not claim points and/or submit reference letters for it, which you can easily explain in an LoE attached.

Ok cool. I'll do that then. No need to add those 1.5 years in Express Entry as well right?

No, as i mentioned above (earlier) you should include it and mention in your LoE that you are not claiming points for it, hence there is no reference letter. Because anyway in your personal history you need to mention what were you doing for those 1.5 years, as you can not leave a gap in the last 10 year's history.

Hope you understood.

My question might sound stupid but still I would like to ask. What do you mean by Personal History? Also what do you mean by No Gap in last 10 years?

If you study the OINP Application Form, you'll notice a table that says 'Personal & Work' History in item No.3 of section D, where you need to mention what you did (employed, unemployed, vacation etc.) without leaving any gaps in the timeline from the date of application till the last 10 yrs of your life.

Hope you could be clear!

Sir,

In fact I have similar question.
But I think TLOU was asking whether he/she can leave the 1.5 years not fill in EE, but not personal history.

So i want to ask again, that: in EE, CIC EE, whether can only submit work experience related to NOC that need to claim points?

Hello Everyone,

Please help me understand how to write about the "Personal History" in the application form.
I believe, we must use an additional sheet to write the personal history?!

1. What all to include in this sheet? How exactly do we frame the history, any chronological order? Basically, I want to know the 'format' of it. If anyone can share an example/sample, it would be really helpful.

2. I had travelled to Europe (France, Spain, Belgium) for 13 days in 2011, for a college tour. My passport has VISA stamps for the respective countries, and Qatar (as it was the connecting point for our flights). Where should I mention this? Do I need to send some document for this also?

3. Should the sheet used to mention the personal history be handwritten, or typed and printed?

Please help me fellow dreamers. TIA

You can do that in EE and Work experience section of PR (eAPR) Form, but when you fill the in personal history section of the same PR Form you need to write everything, else you risk misrepresentation/incomplete Application Form.

CanadaWeCome,

Thanks for your response, that's exactly what i mean.
But do I have to provide LoE and reference letter for the work history lists in Personal History?

Thanks again.

A:Please do if you must.
1. What all to include in this sheet? How exactly do we frame the history, any chronological order? Basically, I want to know the 'format' of it. If anyone can share an example/sample, it would be really helpful.
A: Include all key activities related to Employment, Unemployed, Travel, etc. Easiest way for the writer as well as the reader is to write them chronologically...Is there any second opinion on this? Nothing to share, keep (copy) the format exactly as it is requested in the Form (the table provided i mean).
2. I had travelled to Europe (France, Spain, Belgium) for 13 days in 2011, for a college tour. My passport has VISA stamps for the respective countries, and Qatar (as it was the connecting point for our flights). Where should I mention this? Do I need to send some document for this also?
A: In your personal history section, will be depicted as travel. No need for any supporting documents for this, unless you want to explain something that isn't obvious using an LoE.
3. Should the sheet used to mention the personal history be handwritten, or typed and printed?
A: Obviously printed would be preferred, but in no way necessary, anything is fine as long as it is legible.
Please help me fellow dreamers. TIA
Hope the above clears all your queries...All the Best!

A "personal history" section to write personal history?

I did find it on ONIP form or it's a EE form after invitation?

In OINP Form Work & Personal history section are merged in one. Not same in eAPR.
