OINP nomination extension

Hi,

I just wanted to ask if and how I can request an extension for my OINP nomination application submission.

I’m currently experiencing challenges in preparing all the required documents, especially those that need to come from my home country.

At the moment, I only have two weeks left to complete and submit everything. Any guidance or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I read that I may request an extension through the OINP webform, but I’m not sure if that information is accurate. Could you please confirm the proper process for requesting an extension for my OINP nomination application submission?

You may request an extension of your nomination certificate if you applied to IRCC but your application for permanent residence was returned due to being incomplete, or you were delayed in gathering supporting documents (for example, police criminal record check) for your application for permanent residence.

Only requests that comply with the above requirements will be granted.

You can request an extension via our webform. Please include the following documents:

• a letter of explanation describing the reason to extend your nomination certificate
• a copy of the incomplete letter from IRCC (if applicable)
