I have noticed that there are some difference between the support documents required in the application guide, versus those in the checklist of the application form; for instance:
1) For education documents, the application form checklist asks to provide certified true copies of applicant university degrees, college diplomas, occupational certificates AND the ECA Report; the application guide only requires the ECA for foreign degree holders
2) For settlement funds, the application form checklists asks for current bank certification of evidence of savings balance; the application guide asks for last six months of original up-to-date bank statements

So which one to follow? Any advice from successful applicants to this program would be much appreciated 8)

For education documents, submit a copy of your ECA and your degree certificate. You do not have to get anything notarized unless a translation is required for any of your documents.

For POF, submit a letter from the bank that states your name, date of account opening, current balance in local currency and if possible, the Canadian equivalent amount. Also, be sure to submit 6 months bank statements that are issued and stamped by the bank. If you hae fixed deposits, then request "FD advice" from the bank and they'll give it to you. Use that.

Good luck!
