I got add doc request for my spouse

My spouse worked for x company till feb and then he quit his job and he was unemployed for 3 months after that in may he got new job which was totally different from the previous one. We have applied for oinp in feb but we have not informed oinp about spouse's job and unemployed period. So now we got a add doc request feom ojnp for spouse's x compsny.

What should we do?

Should inform oinp that he left his x job and he was unemployed for 3 months and niw he is doing completely different job ?

Please suggest seniors!!

But he was wirking as an account manager before and now he is working as a customer care advisor

Will it not create negative impact on fule?

They specifically said that Proof of your spouse’s employment as an Account Manager

Does this employment of your spouse affect your (FSW and/or EE) points? Even if they do, those points were accrued as on Feb '16 so anything happening after that makes no difference to this application.

OINP is asking for 'Proof of your spouse’s employment as an Account Manager' because that was stated as such in your application. Simply moving to a Customer Service role (after application submission) wouldn't adversely impact the application.

But if she is not claiming points for her husband than why?

Only because OP provided the information to OINP in the first place and now they have to respond to their query.

PS: The assumption being that OP is the PA not their spouse. Though even if their spouse is the PA, change of job after application submission shouldn't affect their application.

If she had not mentioned her husband's work exp in personal history suppose if she had mentioned him house husband or un employed would that have mattered? Or it would have made the negative impact of husband not working or unemployed? And in that case would she have to provide proof of unemployment? Or house husband?

Who is the main applicant? i guess he is. In that case he has to inform ontario about it.

@Asivad i believe you but is there any link or something to prove that it will not affect my application

The link is OINP's website.

I'm assuming that your spouse's experience was outside Canada. In that case, it is completely irrelevant to your application as PA. Even if said experience were inside Canada, you'd have got additional points for spouse's work experience up until Feb '16 because that is when you submitted the application in the first place. Any changes to spouse's employment (within or outside Canada) after application submission makes no difference to your points and thereby to your application.

It might have affected OP's points if spouse's work experience was in Canada. It wouldn't have made any difference if the experience was outside Canada.

No negative impact.

Not required.
