OHIP immediate coverage for pregnancy

I and my husband have landed in Ontario 3 years ago and after 2 months my husband recruited by a Canadian company as overseas agent, for the reason we left Canada territory.
Now we came back to Toronto recently and I am pregnant. We are now registered for OHIP. Due to my pregnancy, is there any way my coverage starts earlier (not to wait the 3 months period?)

Unfortunately exceptions aren't granted due to pregnancy. The waiting period still applies.

There are also residency requirement that you must meet with OHIP just in case your husband is still employed abroad an your plan was just to give birth in Canada. Given that your husband left Canada very close to his arrival you should also be aware that his time working for a Canadian company will likely not count towards PR requirement as well.

Who qualifies
To qualify for OHIP, you must meet all of the minimum qualifications listed below plus at least one of the additional requirements.

To meet the minimum qualifications you must:

• be physically in Ontario for 153 days in any 12‑month period
• be physically in Ontario for at least 153 days of the first 183 days immediately after you began living in the province
• make Ontario your primary home
