Hello everyone.
I just received my PGWP. My Spouse and my child (4 years old) are also here with me in Canada.
My Spouse is on SOWP till April 2023, the child is on Visitor Visa till April 2023.
I am eligible for OHIP. I wanted to ask as my child is on a Visitor visa, will she be covered by OHIP as my dependent, or she needs a study permit?

Thanks in advance,
Akash

Yes she will be covered as a dependent if you can prove that your full-time job will last over 6 months. Would be a good idea for your child to apply for a study permit for the duration of your PGWP versus having to renew her visitor status.

I got my PWGP last week and I'm applying for OHIP (I have a full-time job). My wife's on maintained status waiting for her SOWP approval. Can I apply for her OHIP as well or do I have to wait for her SOWP?

Thank you very much for your reply.
So, while applying for my daughter's study permit, won't I require an offer letter?
