My spouse has been eligible to apply since early Feb 2014 for his citizenship BUT we are stuck because we do not have the official school records for his children under 18 living outside of Canada. Why the heck does CIC want those? His children are not even in Canada and not permanent residents so why ask for those papers? Argh!!! 
I'm ranting here because I'm sure no one can tell us why but its definitely causing a delay and with Bill C-24 hanging over our heads its making us nuts!!! With all the post discussions about applications returned because of missing school records, we are really nervous. ???
