After offer letter, gather all your required documents by checking the Canada High Commission office website that serves your country. The requirements are almost the same to all countries except some exemptions that boils down to individual circumstances like health, crime issue and finances.

I assume you meant to say "visa officer and not admission officer"....The offer letter is admission placement confirmation given to you by the school. The offer will be provided on their letter head paper with all your prospective course details. So you don't need to worry how the visa officer will know.

If you intend to ask about "admission officer",then,an admission officer will be the one to access your qualification submitted to your school, and grant you a place to study in their college

Centennial college.

"For International Applicants

Qualified applicants will receive a letter of acceptance in the mail. Subsequently, you will sign the acceptance-acknowledgement form and return it to the college before the stated deadline, along with a fee deposit.

While waiting for your letter of acceptance, you should submit an application for your Study Permit. You must contact the nearest Canadian embassy and request a student application kit. You should prepare your application as soon as possible, since the process usually takes four to six months.

You are asked to pay your tuition fees before the stated deadline. If you are not granted a Study Permit, you will receive a full refund. If you are unable to receive a Study Permit before the stated deadline, you should write or phone the International Department and ask to be moved ahead to the next semester.

You should travel to Canada to begin your studies at least a week before the scheduled first date for classes in order to secure your accommodations and get acquainted with the city and college faculty. "

i was asking about this, to sign the offer letter and return to the college, how long does it take for them to accept the letter and add my name in the list of students?

Usually offer letter is 4 pages long.
1st page: Explains your admission and welcomes you. (LOA)
2nd page: Terms and Conditions
3rd Page: The acceptance page, which you have to sign and send it back/fax it.
4th Page: Information regarding fee.

When you get admission you will be sending only the 3rd page. If you want you can photocopy the filled form before sending it back to the university.
