Off campus work permit: difficulties with IMM5710E form

Hi all,

I am doing my phd in Ottawa, Ontario with a study permit which
also allows me to work in campus. I would like to apply for an
off-campus permit to work on some odd job or something for the
rest of the summer. I applied for and got my EVN-OCWP number
and now I'm applying online, filling in the IMM5710E form.

My problem is that I don't have a job offer, I was planning to look
around in kijiji after I get my work permit. However in this form,
they ask for "details of my prospective employer (attach original
offer of employer)" and many other details, such as the address
of my prospective work, etc. Even writing "N/A" is not accepted
by the form.

How do I overcome this? What should I do in my situation?

Write in full - Not Applicable, you cannot enter N/A because they are just a few letters, they have a minimum number required

I was in the same situation as you and i wrote Not Applicable and I recently received my permit. Don't leave anything empty as the application will be rejected.
