Hey guys my tracker was updated today: citizenship test request and finger prints. YAYYY. I have not received the email yet. Can I do the fingerprints without the email?

This is entirely my opinion, I could be wrong:
Best not to do anything without the email.
IRCC appears to be planning and allocating specific time windows for these steps.
Once you get the email, you'll also get the confirmation that tells you where RCMP needs to send your fingerprint results.

Congratulations. I received Fingerprint request as well by email yesterday but nothing updated on Tracker as of yet.
I believe you need letter so to ensure they send fingerprints to correct office.
I received email from CPC sydney.

I got 3rd ghost update today so might be getting test invite hopefully.

Gave citizenship test on July 24th,
Citizenship Test Completed on July 26th

Today I saw a ghost update, August 3rd.
What it could be ? (FYI, BG is completed as well).

What is your secondary office?

Hi Sammy 3, what happened after you submitted fingerprint on July 12. Almost 3 weeks? No update?

No update after that. I got my test completed on the tracker on July 19. Not sure how long they will take for FP processing.

Ghost update is when the date on the top right hand corner has changed but no change is reflected on the different components in your tracker.

when we check the online status tracker, the 'Updated' value on the top right changes, but there are no details of what has changed.

looks like there are two streams: simple - with 7 working days to complete, and complex - with 120 working days to complete.

By the way when I check ECAS it shows DECISION MADE. But the newer online tracker shows in progress.

I’m hoping it won’t take 3-4 months for the oathtaking.

Yay! I received an update.

I am hopeful that they will schedule an oathtaking soon.

I received another ghost update this morning ( 4 in total ) but tracker status is not changed with any new information.
I received FP on August 2 and submitted yesterday.

does it take time to update the status on tracker? I should have Fingerprint requested on Background Check but nothing is there.
